About Lighthouse Tabernacle

Who We Are

Lighthouse Tabernacle is an Apostolic Pentecostal Church, which provides an exciting Bible-based atmosphere promoting salvation, restoration, and spiritual growth. We are Apostolic In doctrine, and Pentecostal in experience!

Dynamic praise and worship, fundamentally sound preaching, and wholesome fellowship are all part of what we experience on a weekly basis. But don’t take our word for it – come see for yourself! We also offer FREE Personal Bible Studies.

Our Vision and Mission

The vision of Lighthouse Tabernacle is two-fold: first, to reach the entire Okmulgee County with the true gospel of Jesus Christ! Secondly, to provide a safe place where families in our community can come together in a protected environment and learn what God expects from each of us so that we can be ready for his soon return!

Our mission is to reach our community for the glory of God!

Frequently Asked Questions

What We Believe

What can you expect at the Lighthouse Tabernacle? Here are answers to some of our more frequently asked questions.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s infallible Word and is the only valid source of Christian doctrine. (II Timothy 3:16)

We believe it is God’s revelation of Himself to mankind and also tells us how to live a life that is pleasing to Him. (John 5:39; II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:3)

Salvation

We believe that salvation comes only through believing and obeying the Gospel. (Mark 16:15-16)

We believe the Gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (I Corinthians 15:1-4)

We obey the Gospel by identifying with Jesus Christ in His death through repentance; His burial through Water baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ. (The Only Saving Name), and His resurrection when we receive the promised gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38, Romans 6:1-11)

The Godhead

We believe in one God who was “manifest in the flesh” (1 Timothy 3:16) and dwells within us. (II Timothy 1:14; John 14:17)

We believe Jesus is the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. (John 5:43, Matthew 1:21-23, John 14:26)

Apostles’ Doctrine

We preach the Apostles’ doctrine (Acts 2:42) and believe in living separated and consecrated lives to our Savior. (Romans 12:1; II Corinthians 6:17)
